Pipe dreams

This is a photo taken on the 23rd Jan of the venue for the halfpipe, snowboardcross and a couple ski events, Cypress Mountain which sits 30mins from Vancouver. How will they build an Olympic quality pipe in the rain? They are even talking of helicoptering over snow from Whistler but we all have our fingers crossed they will just move the event here!

It rained for 2 days, snowed for 2 days (71cm), 2 mountain rescue died in an avalanche and weve just had 2 bluebird days!

Booze hound

Been a massive booze hound over the last couple of days...

First was a night when we played Centurion (drinking game when you drink a shot of beer every minute for 100 minutes) - 3 people were sick, one of which threw up on the table we were playing on, with NO warning! I found it hilarious but I think that triggered one of the others to barf. The third puke of the night came from our resident stoner who decided to have a joint half way through!

Next was an 80s night which was probably the funniest night ive had since ive been here. A few of us got a taxi down to a second hand clothes store in function junction first to find some sexy 80's wear and we all managed to get some delightful sleeveless numbers matched with headbands and eye wear.
The club was rammed and much jagermeister was consumed.
One mate pulled and was so pissed he lost her and couldnt find her again and another got kicked out for throwing down some crazy 80s dance moves.
Hangover hurt.

Olympics

Yesterday a load of us bought tickets for the mens & womens skeleton finals so we can hopefully see Shelley Rudman bring home some bling for team GB. $40 a ticket, absolute bargain!

We had a massive NYE house party and the place got trashed, all our cutlery got stolen, we had naked people boning in our hot tub and there was so much beer spilt on the carpet it started to drip through the ceiling of the floor below!
There must of been over 100 people in the house and it got a bit ugly around 2am when some aussie twat started throwing beer cans and bottles into the crowd busting shapes on the makeshift dance floor.
I didnt take any photos but will post some if I can get copies from someone else.

British ingenuity

This is our attempt at a christmas tree which we went out and hacked down with an axe! Decorated with cans, twisted and melted plastic bags, a homemade angel with various bits of our body hair sellotaped to it and all held up with an old ski boot!
