The road trip is underway

First stop was Vancouver for a couple of days to visit a house mate that overcooked a jump in the park and smashed one of his vertebrae.
He had a 12 hour operation to remove debris from around his spine and replace the crushed vertebrae with a permanent metal cage. Pretty serious stuff as the operation only had a 80% chance of success without causing some loss of movement to his legs. Because of the risk of damaging his spine they opened him up from the front and pulled out his intestines and other organs to get access to his spine, needless to say he has some pretty tasty scars now!





To make matters worse the hospital are feeding him Homo milk!
